The guitar has 6 strings. The bottom string is the 1st string and the top string is the 6th. The diameter
of the strings increases from bottom to top. Play the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth
strings. Hear how they get progressively lower in sound as you play each string.

The blank spaces are where the enharmonic notes fall. For example, the note between F and G is call either
F# or Gb. If you are moving up one fret use sharp, if you are moviong down one fret down, use flat.
